While traveling to Punjab, India, I visited two of the biggest Sikh temples: Anandpur Sahib and Amritsar. During the visits, I got many shots displaying the architecture, culture and those who follow the religion of Sikhism.
In 1577 Amritsar was founded by the fourth Sikh Guru named Ram Das Ji. The Golden Temple is one of India’s most holy, humble sights as the holy temple is made of real Gold. The temple is absolutely gorgeous, but the same cannot be said about the chaotic streets that surround the outside of the temple.
Anandpur sahib is listed as one of the most beautiful Sikh temples right after Amritsar. It was founded by the ninth Guru, Teg Bahadur and the tenth Guru, Gobind Singh spent 25 years of his life there. Anandpur Sahib is also known as the city of bliss, as it is one of the holiest places for the Sikhs.
